Serving the Kingsbridge community since 1975

Welcome to Quay Dental Surgery, conveniently located in the heart of Kingsbridge here in South Devon. Our professionals know that dental health is not just about those pearly white smiles: it’s about having strong teeth and healthy gums. It’s about prolonging the simple joy of eating delicious things! Our mission is to help our patients accomplish these goals in a painless, compassionate, and efficient way.

We aim to educate our patients in a safe environment while offering them necessary comprehensive care. Natalie Elliott

Principle Dentist and Practice Owner.

Natalie was born in Kingsbridge but moved away when she was very young.  Natalie completed her first degree in Motorcycle Engineering Design at Kingston University in 2006 and subsequently moved back to the South Hams at the earliest opportunity.

She qualified from Peninsula Dental School in 2015 and was offered the opportunity of taking ownership of Quay Dental Surgery in 2017.

Natalie has a passion for helping those with dental phobias with a relaxed and unpressured approach. There is nothing more she enjoys than seeing an initially incredibly phobic patient positively skip through the door after spending time, effort, some light heartedness and most importantly patience with that person.

You will see Natalie around Kingsbridge most of the time accompanied by her two dogs, Wilfred and Maddie who you may spy out of the window when you visit Quay Dental.

She looks forward to meeting all newcomers, young and old and getting to know them.

Lynn Chalinder

Dental Hygienist.

Lynn was born and raised in Plymouth.  Before becoming a Dental Hygienist she was a travel agent and a nanny!  It’s a long story, but Lynn came in to this profession as a result of being a dental phobic who was treated very kindly by a wise and patient dentist.

She qualified in Birmingham in 1994 and lived and worked around that area for some time afterwards.  And she has worked in many varied settings over the years.

In 2008 Lynn and her family returned to her hometown to be nearer to her extended family and the sea.

She enjoys speeding time with her family, especially her two grandchildren who keep her very busy!  She loves walking the coastal path with friends and her her trusty dog and swimming in the (freezing!) sea.

Lynn has taught trainee dentists and hygiene therapists at the Peninsula Dental School since 2014 and she is passionate about health and education.  The feedback she regularly receives both from patients and students is that she is kind, gentle, thorough and knowledgeable.
