Whitening

Professional teeth whitening is far more effective and longer lasting than whitening toothpastes. It can increase your confidence with having a beautifully white smile. Whitening prescribed by a dentist is the only recognised and safe method that the General Dental Council advises as we use safe bleaching products.

We only offer at home whitening which lasts longer and is fully in your control.

At-home Whitening

Impressions are taken of your teeth and personalised whitening trays are made at our dental lab. Natalie fits the trays and gives you all the instructions you need along with the bleach.

Two weeks later, you have an appointment with Natalie to see how you are getting on and if the teeth have reached your desired shade. It is important that you only use a very small amount of bleach to gradually whiten your teeth over the two weeks as an unpleasant side effect is sensitivity if you use too much. Natalie will discuss all of this if whitening is something you would like to do.

Things to avoid:

  • Tobacco products

  • Coffee and tea

  • Red wine

  • Food coloring

  • Any bright-colored drinks

Once you have the trays and have finished the whitening, keep them safe and when you want a top up of whitening, then let us know and Natalie will be happy to provide you with some bleach to give you a pep up before that special event!
